Salt Dough Poppies

Step 1: Mixing and Kneading the Salt Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Slowly add water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until it becomes smooth and pliable. Adjust the consistency by adding more flour or water if needed.

Step 5: Assembling the Stems

Take the green pipe cleaners or floral wire and insert one end into the small hole at the bottom of each poppy shape. Bend and twist the wire to secure it, creating a stem for the poppy. You can adjust the length of the stem according to your preference. Repeat this step for all the poppies.
